Streets and Fleet Division

Our Mission

The Streets Division of the Public Works Department strives to provide a safe, high quality public street system for the citizens of Moscow. The Division promotes short and long range planning, maintenance, and capital improvement goals for maintaining and improving the public street system and its associated appurtenances. The Division will seek to provide the necessary training and career opportunities for the advancement of employees and to provide a safe and healthy working environment.

The Fleet Division is responsible for the procurement and maintenance of all City vehicles and equipment. There are approximately 250 units in the City fleet. By employing a stringent specification process, an aggressive maintenance program with an emphasis on preventative maintenance, and focusing on sustainability in City Fleet Operations we are able to provide the City of Moscow an efficient, professional, well running fleet.
