Join us this Saturday for the Moscow Farmers Market at Friendship Square in Downtown Moscow! The market runs Saturdays from 8am-1pm May through October and features live music, local produce, craft vendors and food vendors. At Friendship Square live music will be provided by Potato Head Palouse Pride at 9:30am and then Yellow Dog Flats at 11:45am! The Master Gardener will be in our City Tent with their demonstration on Kids in the Garden. While at the City Tent take a moment and vote to make the Moscow Farmers Market your favorite Farmers Market! Don’t forget about the UI Extension Pressure Canning Gauge Testing Clinic! Also, don’t miss the Eat Local – Eat Well booth featuring free food tasting starting at 11am, free weekly recipes, and nutritional information.
Also summer is starting to show its colorful face at the market with berries, okra, bell peppers, Fuji Apples, Granny Smith Apples, cherries, green beans, carrots, zucchini, beats, corn, and apricots. Come and support Idaho’s oldest Farmers Market by purchasing a stainless steel water bottle or our organic cotton shopping bags that have “Moscow Farmers Market” on them. You can check them out at the city booth. And, if you need help getting your purchases to your vehicle, try using one of the free market wagons. Don’t forget the Market is accepting SNAP too!
